1. Introduction
Welcome to Nexus Stream TV ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This
Privacy Policy explains how our Android TV application ("the App") handles your information.
Key Summary: Nexus Stream TV is a local media player. We do not collect, store, or
transmit your personal viewing habits, playlist urls, or content data to our servers.
2. Data Collection
We believe in privacy by design. The App operates as follows:
No Server-Side Tracking: We do not track the channels you watch or the content
you access.
Local Storage: Your playlists (m3u links, Xtream Codes credentials, Portal
URLs) are stored locally on your device or synchronized via your personal Google Drive if you
enable that feature. We simply do not have access to them.
3. Third-Party Content
The App is a player interface. It does not provide any content. You are responsible for ensuring you
have the right to access the content you load into the App. We are not responsible for the privacy
practices of any third-party content providers you connect to.
4. App Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
Storage: To read local playlist files or save backups (if requested by you).
Internet: To connect to the streams you provide.
5. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us via the details in the Impressum.
Report Abuse / DMCA Policy
Nexus Stream TV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its
users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), the text
of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, and applicable EU law, we will respond
expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our software if such claims are
reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.
1. No Content Hosted
Please be aware that Nexus Stream TV is a purely client-side media player application.
We do not host, provide, archive, store, or distribute any media content, channels, or playlists. The
application is a tool (an "Empty Shell") that allows users to play content they legally own or have the
right to access. If you believe your content is being accessed illegally, please understand that we
cannot "take down" streams as we do not host them. However, we are committed to preventing our software
from being used for piracy.
2. Notice of Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner, authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any
exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or
through the application by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering
it to our Designated Copyright Agent.
DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement ("Notice")
Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or - if multiple
copyrighted works are covered by this Notice - you may provide a representative list of the
copyrighted works that you claim have been infringed.
Identify the material or link you claim is infringing (or the subject of infringing
activity) and that access to which is to be disabled, including at a minimum, if applicable, the URL
of the link shown on the Site or the exact location where such material may be found.
Provide your mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
Include both of the following statements in the body of the Notice:
"I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted
material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair
use)."
"I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of
perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright
or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed."
Provide your full legal name and your electronic or physical signature.
Please include: your contact details, identification of the copyrighted work, where the allegedly
infringing
material appears (exact link/location), and the required statements/signature (per 17 U.S.C. §
512(c)(3)).
3. Counter Notices
If you believe that your material has been removed by mistake or misidentification, please provide a
written Counter Notice containing specific details as required by the DMCA to our Designated Copyright
Agent.
